I tend to build on a loose idea, some narrative I made up in my head to build from, I imagine this place was built to hold and defend a world ending artifact, the reason this place was picked was due to it being out in the artic ocean, not many folks would want to go here, nor would a lot of people be even able to sail here without dying in high seas and bone chilling waters
