Happy New Year!! Creator of the month returns!

Well it’s 2023 and we’ve survived another year. Congratulations!! Anyways, now as part of the revamp of Tales Tavern we’re restarting creator of the month awards. We’ve had many so far as you can see on our Creator page but we’re excited to get this going again. With the addition of cyber punk and so much more we want to see who you, the community, believe to be the best of the best.

So until January 10th, we’re opening creator of the month nominations. Simply go to our google form at https://forms.gle/j9WNVP3ACikNQUUHA and let us know who you think deserves it. It’s only one entry per person, and anyone who has already been creator of the month can’t win. So let us know and we’re excited to see who you all like. Any that don’t win, will still be used as a basis for future awards too.

I also wanted to give a big thanks to our new subscribers this past month. We appreciate your support and it has really helped to cover and support our costs to run the site. It’s been a labor of love and now that we’re at around 6,400 boards and slabs it feels so good to know that you all love and use the site. We’ve got some ideas in the works for new features and tools and hope to roll those out this year and with your support we should be able to do that.

July Creator of the Month – type_omega aka Workshop Panda

Welcome to July! And to our third creator of the month. This month, we decided to find someone who creates a lot of unique builds in that they create slabs that anyone can use to speed up their building game. Workshop Panda stuck out and so we wanted to make sure everyone could learn a little more about him. As a reward, as if the admiration and thanks of TaleSpire builders isn’t enough, we’ll also be sending him a Tales Tavern mug and t-shirt.

Panda is very active on the TaleSpire discord and already has 35 builds to his name. He’s built a number of interesting and fun builds and then a lot of showcase builds to display and help speed up your building. The most fun activity though is watching his “middle name” as it changes every few days depending on his mood. You better go check it out to find out what it is now.

We here at TalesTavern can’t wait to see more from him and we’re so glad he joined the collaborative build. And really proud to showcase him as our July 2021 creator of the month. Great job Panda.

Chilling Expedition Booster Pack Released

The jagged curves and twists of the cavern wall were illuminated by a variety of blue and green crystals, their light made your shadows dance along the stone floor. The cavern seemed to get bigger and bigger the deeper you delved, originally the ceiling was barely enough to fit your goliath party member into the entrance, yet by now he could stand to his full seven-foot stature with even a few feet above his head for comfort. However, your mage from the back alerted the party to stop as her owl came flying back, perching on her shoulder. Seemingly a telepathic exchange occurred and that’s when the woman would speak once more. Letting you and the others know of the dangers ahead, but also a promise of treasure. And that’s when you heard it, echoing throughout the cavern walls, a roar akin to a bear. Exactly what your group was sent up here to deal with, a yeti.

TaleSpire‘s newest update: Chilling Expedition brings a nice treat for digital tabletop players! Bouncyrock Entertainment introduces three new miniatures, two new sets of glowing crystals (green and blue), one new ominous chest along with the new “Tundra” soundtrack.
