A cheerful conversation from the back of the room is almost drowned by rhythmic sniping of scissors and clicking of looms. The shelves are buried under different coloured spools of thread and textiles – mainly wool, linen and cotton but you can spot neatly folded silks and a selection of magnificently soft furs. The head seamstress’ watchful gaze is already measuring you from head to toe, along with the size of your purse and quality of your garments, from the first steps you took under her roof.

Allow me to present a Tailor’s / Weaver’s workshop with a tiny bit of scenery around it for all of your textile needs. As always I used Tales Garden Trees by andreguio, a modern-ish wardrobe by Inkyiie and borrowed a gorgeous cart from Forrest Road and Caravan Carts by Eiven. I updated the board with the looms and some arches on the side for easier copying if anyone wants to use them elsewhere.

Hope you enjoy!

  1. The problem with your town is that it boasts extremely detailed niche buildings while lacking basic buildings that an adventuring party needs like a weapons shop. That’s the issue I am struggling with at the moment. I will probably use a bandaid solution like selling weapons in the general store, but you can fix this in grand style and help out all of us who depend on you.

    • There is a blacksmiths on the western side of the town right by the gates and it was slightly redesigned in an update from yesterday – you can find a slab for it over here:

If that’s not enough for you, you’re always welcome to edit the board and add anything you wish – there’s plenty of shops you can find posted here and it shouldn’t be too difficult to delete some residential houses to plop one more merchant down 🙂

The town board was mainly build for a low level play to introduce some of my friends and family to TTRPG’s and I’d like to keep it that way hence no massive shops.

      • I won’t make any changes, and certainly not as big as plopping down someone else’s slab done in another style. I don’t need a massive weapons shop, just a regular one would do, but if you aren’t making one I’ll just use the blacksmith as you suggest.
