Virtual Tabletop Journey all Demongund patrons presents the iconic Curse of Strahd – Amber Temple recreated for use in TaleSpire! With only a few quick clicks, your adventurers can start begin their exploration of the abandoned(?) temple of forbidden magic! Please visit the product page at DMsguild.com to Pay What You Want for a full PDF containing alternate room descriptions, hide volume instructions (seriously, do yourself a favor and READ IT) and other board information. The book enhances the original Curse of Strahd module, which you will still need. If you are just starting your campaign, I also recommend getting a Guide to the Curse of Strahd campaign. The book includes…

  • 36 revised room descriptions which accurately reflect rooms visible to players.
  • One entirely new wind swept staircase.
  • Details about the challenges of converting 2D maps to 3D.
  • Slab assembly instructions and advice.

Additional Materials

  • Two 2D full-color reference maps.

Gorgeous cover art from the one and only, Istallri Astra!

Map Info

The Amber Temple board has a hybrid presentation of the “Main” and “Lower” floors. A standard game should have the player group approach and explore the “Main” floor rooms until they descend. Once they descend to the lower floors, I highly recommend switching to the Lower Floor map. It can be difficult to maneuver the camera and tokens if there are hide volumes or room above the play area. The lower floor map alleviates this issue by having the upper areas removed. It can be confusing at first to swap back and forth, should the party backtrack a lot, but the benefit of an open play area is worthwhile.
