“The Aenarion Alley used to be a safe and friendly place for travelers and adventurers who passed through.

With a cozy tavern, a friendly farmer, and a temple always open to the devotees and needy, there was no one who didn’t stop to eat, recover their energy and renew their faith before continuing on their journey.

But one day, travelers began to notice changes in those quiet citizens behaviors. If they were friendly and receptive before, now they gradually became more and more impatient and intolerant.

A few days passed when, suddenly, the travelers were surprised by a terrible new: the tavern had closed, Nadia, the tavern keeper’s wife, had gone mad, killed her daughter and then killed herself.

The next few days were ones of pain and suffering for Galdor, the tavern keeper, and it wasn’t long before Ungrim, the farmer, found his body hanging on a rope next to the lake.

Faced with the events, Zanzer, the priest, decided to call everyone, locals and traveler, to pray, in order to get rid the small alley from what he thought was an evil possession.

However, the travelers who stopped were never seen again.

News travels, and the capital Moldova was informed of the facts, deciding to send a small group of rangers to check.

The group, however, upon reaching the alley, were surprised by the dead bodies of Zanzer and Ungrim next to the river. According to the investigations, the two had fought in front of the temple and rolled downhill.

The rangers then decided to set up camp in order to continue the investigations, but gradually one by one disappeared… except for Kagliari, their leader.

Nowadays, years later, some few travelers brave enought to pass through the alley have reported that they heard Kagliari’s screams from the deep of the alleys caves. The leader has gone mad. Some say he never saw the sun again.”
