As you’ve been informed, the cemetery is impossible to miss; there’s a gradual slope down from the road and it dips into a sizable depression where rows of tombstones and small sepulchers denote the final resting places for citizens of note.

In the distance, Gravekeeper Yannick carries a length of rope and a bundle of long wooden spikes, which he drives into the ground at regular intervals before hanging signs that read “do not enter”. As before, his attire is functional rather than spiritual or ceremonial: a rigid leather jerkin with a number of buckles and straps, loose-fitting brown trousers that cinch just above the knee and a pair of sturdy boots reinforced with metal strips along the toe and bridge of the foot.
