XXL Mountain Encounter Board

Board

Adventurers have been sent to Mt Waterdeep to investigate claims that bandits have taken over an abandoned guard tower, and started harassing travelers on their way to the peak. On the winding trail upward there is an encounter with some Kobolds that have found easy prey in a pair of Dwarves that have become trapped in a rock slide. At the top the guard tower is now manned by Zhentarim thugs wearing Waterdeep Guard uniforms. They are friendly at first, but will become sour if their demands for taxes of 10gp per person and a donation of rations are not met.

At the top there are tons of encounters to discover. Some bear cubs have become separated from their parents, helping them may lead the adventurers to a secret Druid Hostel for weary nature savvy travelers of the mountain (and undermountain). Beware of the Manticore that nests near the summit, and around the backside of the map a cave holds a band of Kobolds guarding a Dragon Scale they believe is holy.

In a temple to the God Tyr Hlam is having visions of the future, in a deep trance. He is being set upon by spined devils sent by a Devil worshipping cult within the city.

This board is made from several slabs and boards that I found here on tales tavern, but hoping to create a map with a lot of verticality that could hold several encounters, and possible be played on for several sessions, or returned to for adventures later. This is meant to serve as Mt Waterdeep for my heavily remixed Waterdeep Dragon Heist Campaign.

I used lot of slabs to create this and I know im going to miss a few of these, because I only started tracking the slabs when I started thinking about publishing it. I know I have missed the creator for the temple at the top listed. If you made those and want me to list you please just comment and I will update, sorry!

It should be noted that I remixed a lot of these slabs pretty heavily, mostly used them as a starting point. Im also recognizing more slabs that I didnt get the creator info for and im trying to track them down, I know the second winding path at the top of the mountain is another slab whos owner I have failed to credit.
