Glorious combat awaits in The Golden Pit!

This pit houses combat for both humanoids and monsters in any imaginable combination, for the entertainment of both the commonfolk and rulers alike. It is not uncommon for these events to last several days, and during the night, which is why there is plenty of room for merchants and gambling brokers alike. A design in the bleachers also means that The Golden Pit is the number one spot for secret meetings and teenagers in love.

The board is pretty straight forward, all spaces are accessible by foot and there are several spaces to hide. The combat arena itself is sandy with a central decorative marble piece. One thing to note is in the regal seating close to the action, the tile inbetween the two seats are meant to act as a magical elevator that can allow the royals to enter the arena and congratulate the winners. It can also go a second level down and act as an emergency exit for whomever knows of the route.
