Roman Emperor Palace

An absolute magnificent palace fit for an emperor.  This is the largest single building I’ve ever made and hope it serves you well.  This palace is meant to be in the center of the Empire’s capital city, Palladium.  The 3rd picture is the original framework I had inspiration from to create this massive palace.  IF YOU DONT WANT THE MAP TO BE SLOW, SIMPLY DELETE THE HUGE PILES OF TREASURE BELOW THE BUILDING AND ALL THE CANDLES/TORCHES.  The dungeon below has a secret passage from a couple of the cells that allows PC’s that were foolish to get captured, to burrow their way out into the palace grounds.  Do with that information as you will ;).

Throughout the Palace there are Demon-like statues with gold rings above their head.  Those are Eidolon that are magically controlled by the gold rings, thanks to the Archmage’s magic.  Should anything uninvited or threatening be near its presence, it will immediately activate and attack the closest enemy.  There are also extra pieces of building/furniture if you like the styles used in the construction.

The entrance is framed after the famous building, Maison Carree, and in this version of my world, it’s meant to hold visitors to be screened and wait for an audience with the emperor.  The Main Chamber is a reception hall for senators and clergy to meet with royal family members.  The royal garden sits between the Main Chamber and the Throne Room with x2 baths.  The Throne Room is where the Emperor/Empress meet with anyone requesting an audience.  There’s the Dining Hall on the 2nd floor to the left of the Throne Room and the Emperor/Empress’ Bedroom to the right of the Throne Room.  The Kitchen is on the first floor as well as the Archmage’s Research Floor with their own Bedroom.  Slave’s quarters are in the basement of the Palace with over 60 slaves working from emptying latrines, to polishing the statues, to gardening and attending royal family members.  There are 16 bedrooms for royal family members and x2 secret tunnels leading to the Palace’s Vault Room.  The palace is guarded by the Empire’s strongest soldiers, the Legionary and Palace Guards.  There’s an entrance just outside one of the baths leading to the Palace’s highest security dungeon in the Empire, holding the most dangerous of criminals/beasts.  If anything should threaten the Emperor’s life, there’s a secret passage behind the Throne Room leading to an escape passage out of the Royal Palace.

1.2: I added community mini’s to the guards but kept their original defaults in case you wanted them (just re-morph them back by right-clicking them) as well as some important NPC’s that were added for my campaign.
