Among the the scattered Sea Gate islands is the pirate port of ShatterRock, built atop the ruins of a long abandoned fey port town. The southern pirates and northern fleshmongers of the Karnassi empire spend their ill gotten coin on spectacles of violence and duels at the Razor Reef Arena. Run by the fashionable and mad BloodBrush Ekoon, the ‘violence artist’.

This is my first upload so hopefully it all works out. The Arena is an original build. It’s is meant to evoke both a gladitorial feel as well as a Conan-esque version of a casino area. Merchants cluster around the front while inside betting and odds boards greet visitors above the armored ticket office.
The scattered pines and olive trees were rebuilt from the collect of Lioki’s Tropical Vegetation Set. Its a great set, check it out. 🙂

The Arena top floor:
BloodBrush’s / Overseer’s office, which has crossbows overlooking the field for spicing up dull matches,
The art and costuming crafting area
The arena’s Vault just waiting to be heisted.

The second floor:
The Sharktooth tavern and kitchen, which looks out over the killing field.
Two long marble corridors feed the crowds up to into the stands.

(When facing the entrance)
Left Subfloor:
The Razor Reef prison holds criminals, slaves, and captured ship crews (now called “Unpaid Gladiators”) as well as larger monsters and beasts.

Right Subfloor:
The right lower levels are the paid gladiator’s supplies, sparring pit, armory and feast hall, shrine to the war god, healing priests quarters, anatomist room, Gladiator bunks, and 3 pool baths.
A Sea Cave accesses the back of the Gladiator section, for supplies or secret arrivals.

The Arena Floor
The Arena floor has posts for prisoners, a sand filled dueling pit, and the “Thresher pit” a section that has collapsed into the waters of the bay.  Sharks or (insert dangerous sea beasties here) await anyone thrown, pushed, or deposited into it.

The arena is crumbling and only the most needed repairs are made.  Large portions of the far-left corner have fallen away into the sea, and some visitors actually fish in the Thresher Pit.

**Please let me know if there are any issues with the build. I’d love to see any modifications, rebuilds, or anything folks may use this for!**

Other’s Builds used:
Tropical Vegetation Set – by Lioki. I modified a few trees with new trunks, leaf patterns are modded.

  1. Hey any chance you could have another version that was a repaired version? It would be cool for a party that sees it in disrepair, then return much later to find its been fixed up to show time is actually progressing in their campaign.

      • For future reference, it’s easier to make something complete, and then remove some stuff to make a ruined version, than the other way around. It’d be sick if every board had two versions, and it’s not that hard to do if you do it in the right order. Awesome board anyway, very distinctive build.
