The party arrived at the royal palace of the ruined capital city, only to find that the once beautiful gardens had become a nightmare. The palace had begun its slow transformation into a new citadel of Hell itself. To enter, the party had to fend off the lost souls of those sacrificed to begin it’s dread apotheosis, and slip past the infernal guards manning its gates.
An encounter map.
