This is the first of many boards that I plan to convert into Talespire for Odyssey of the Dragonlords. Every Map will be a faithful recreation of the original Module (with some creative limitations of course), and you can bet your top dollar that they will be of equal quality and detail each.

Never was a fan of Roll20 style top down maps, as they limit the creativity of your players, and outright ignore the verticality and sheer depth of the worlds you poetically pose to your party as a DM. Hopefully, to those of you that are lucky enough to run this module, find my renditions of the map design easy to follow, and inspiring to go the extra mile when planning your games for your players. I want to alleviate some of the work load for you, and considering how well written the source material is for this Module, I hope that you can fully invest yourselves in catering custom encounters, as well as planning long term for what your players desire to do.

This map is called ‘The Mossy Temple’ and contains little to no spoilers to the actual purpose of the location. Of course, ‘The Ancient Glade’ will be the next build, and will take me no more than 2 hours roughly to hand craft, so expect it in the next day.

In regards to the maps I choose to make for the module: Any major downtime settlements (Cities, Towns, and Villages) will most likely be too big for me to complete on a timely basis, so that being said I may do one of two things. 1) I will build individual sections of a City that hold important locations to the party such as a throne, temple, or marketplace to provide visual reprieve from long theatre of the mind sessions. 2) I will simply skip these locations in their entirety, unless asked by a DM directly to make them.

That Being said – if you do have requests, reach out to me via steam: VELOX is my name.

Maps that will made without a doubt, is anything that is given its own battle map in the module; so if there is a battle map with numbered locations, grid, and well detailed paragraphs that help with visualization, then I am going to make it.

That being said, if you need locations for player Epics or custom encounters, then make a request and if its within reason, we will work something out; worst I can say is no.

After ‘The Ancient Glade’ I will circle back to the Mithril Mines and then Necropolis. However, I will not be making the Oracle’s temple, nor the Boar’s cave as they have both been done to a reasonable degree.

That’s all from me GMs. Good luck with bringing peace to the Lands of Thylea.
