Castle Oblivion was once a fortress and weapon of a bygone age. Built atop the highest peak of the Veronian mountains, this fortress was once built by a powerful king to both house and protect a weapon contained within. The weapon is called the Divine Eye and can be seen atop the tallest tower of the fortress. The Divine Eye functions as a powerful telescope, allowing one to see thousands of miles away as though it were right in front of one’s face. Once the user has focused on a location, a magical key word activates the weapon, sending a powerful beam of energy that incinerates the target. With this weapon, one could instantly obliterate any target within thousands of miles of the fortress. For years, the king ensured the peace of both his realm and neighboring ones through the threat of the Divine Eye, though he dared not ever use it. He kept his most trusted troops stationed within the fortress to ensure that it would not ever fall in the wrong hands.

However, like all things, kingdoms fall and the weapon was forgotten. The castle eventually fell into ruin until Elxa the silver dragon rediscovered it and made the old fortress her home. She repaired the place with a few modifications of her own and used it to hide her treasures. Though to her, the most precious treasure of all is the fortress itself. The history of the fortress as well as the weapon it houses fascinate her and she happily lives alone in it, jealously protecting it from any who would dare approach.
