On the edge of a pond, deep within the forest, lies a tree as massive as it is ancient. It is within this tree that the dryad Corythia dwells. The tree serves as both her home, and a prison of sorts, for its life and her own are forever bound. When it is damaged, she feels it and should it ever be destroyed, it would shatter her mind. It is for this reason that she dares not venture too far from the tree as she must always be nearby to protect it.
Within the tree are all the things one needs in a home: a bed, a small area to sit and eat, as well as a natural prison where she keeps men who she fears might harm her tree. She charms these men to serve as protectors of her home, happily tossing their lives away should the situation require it. Of course, these men are just as likely to serve as company both plutonic and romantic.
