Inspired by the Witcher I have taken on the challenge of stacking a million fences to see if it could end up looking remotely like a castle. It seems to have worked.
My design approach here was not to build the interior but to stick to an exterior build only, leaving room for other creators and GM to add to the space created by the buildings. The gatehouse, posted as a seperate build will show you how you can design the interiors if you wish to. My thinking was to create a back drop to be used for your own games.

Incredible. I have to know, how much time do you think you put into this?
Not sure TBH, I have started timing my builds when I Stream on twitch. This was built on stream and I would guess 20-40 hours over 2 months.
This is a really good design good job! shame there’s nothing on the inside…
Yeah I learnt a lot doing this and was very tempted to build the interior, considered going back to it a couple of times since. But my design principle was to develop a castle exterior, leave room for rooms to be added to the interior. Having just spent the better part of 7 months building Castle Ravenloft with full playable interior, I understand that it is a mammoth task to take on. Still maybe one day 🙂
