Special Order for People Who Neurotically Like Terrain Holes to Be Plugged

Iorama, the world of wilderness and warfare, a hot brackish desert littered bones of dead wanderers and dead empires.  The air is slick with oil, and coarse grains of brown sand bite into your scalp and boots.  A few oases offer respite as you go, but the main purpose to venture into the wilderness is to return with trophies or riches from its old hot caves.

The board includes my old bookmarks, beasts, and atmosphere nodes, but you are welcome to clear out the “murkiness” and turn it into a more traditional golden-orange desert.  It’s all handmade (no Houdini), though I probably will not be attempting a wilderness board this large again, as the players only saw about a fifth of what was here to find.

It is from Spelljammer campaign was rolled randomly from my 5th edition Spelljammer overhaul, on the DM worldbuilding tables.  My buddy rolled the universe just to experiment, but he liked the result so much that, hey presto, we’re deep in a campaign six months later.  Iorama was a “dune sea planet” rolled with the “murky” qualia.  Took me awhile to get the vibe of what in heck a “murky sand world” would be, but here we are.  It’s quite the vibe.  In its lore, its cliffside can be followed to the equatorial empire of Katnu, and though the planet lacks true seas, the Katnish Lagoon it borders is massive.  Don’t drink the water unless you can purify it.

Let me know if you like it.  Players are not likely to return here, but I can still make edits.  I spent way too much time filling holes in the rockery.
