Heading north the adventures realise they are near the town where some family and friends live, so they change direction and head towards there. but as they get closer ,they can feel that somethings wrong and the air comes over thick with fear, as they pass through the old north ruined watch tower arch ,it becomes clear that all is not well, so they decide to get a better look from the all ruined tower, they look at each other and decide to make camp and gather their strength and ponda what to do.
the next day they make their way down to to the main gate, trying to avoid the black crystal gooey gunk that seems to be alive and spreading out across the land killing all vegetation as it spreads. Darn the gate is closed and seems unmoveable,,,,, HHMMM west or east, look for away in…..
as they entre they see the town folk stumbling about and not their usual well being as humans should be tread lightly and quietly,,, as they pass through they see the devastation and their jaws drop as they come across the giant stone hand that was once magically enhanced to rip through the ground to open up the way for the foul beast to emerge.
i wounder if there’s anyone left alive,,,, perhaps,,, head towards the wizards tower,,
