Grimsa, a small viking village. (UPDATED!)

Grimsa is a small village beset with strange occurrences, built in the shadow of the ancient ruined city of Grimstrond from which it takes it’s name which was destroyed by a mysterious cataclysm that happened ages past.

The people of Grimsa are a hardy folk, seeing a great spot to found a town.

Surrounded by excellent lands for farms and pasture and a small river fed by mountain streams teaming with fish, the people here carve out an existence in the unforgiving wilds.

In the last year a pall has fallen over the land, some have claimed to see odd lights shining in the ancient ruins, and strange happenings have been on the rise.

They have started staying inside at night and bringing their animals inside. No one is willing to be caught outside in the dark.

Grimsa and her people are about to learn that the Shadow of Grimstrond is long and a darkness dwells within it that none of them are prepared for.
