Magnus is indeed quite strong, but like all festival games, this one is rigged in his favor. Each participant must make a Strength (Athletics) check. if one person rolls more than 5 higher than the other, they win the match. Otherwise, the match continues. if the match lasts for more rounds than a participant’s constitution bonus, they gain a level of exhaustion.

Magnus has an invisible arm brace that both increases his Strength for the purpose of arm wrestling as well as making him immune to exhaustion caused by the match. he rolls a +10 to arm wrestle while wearing the brace. If he is somehow forced to perform without it, his die bonus is reduced to +6.
