The hold of the Path of Destiny has been broken.
Whatever ruination that was to befall the heroes, has not only been averted, but destroyed.
But the Goddess of Destiny does not take refusal to what is to be, very lightly.
She will not have her domain usurped, and certainly not by mortals, whose very lives do not even reach the breadth of a blink in the span of her existence.
She imprisons those who dared defy her, so that she may begin the process of undoing what has been done, to lay the ground work of what should always be.
Unfortunately for her, she is not the ONLY God that they have taken attention of. The God of Chaos frees The Hero, using what little capacity of power he has in this space, and allows him to gather his allies so that they may regroup, face down the Goddess’s jailers, escape, and stop the Goddess from undoing everything that the heroes strived to do.
After all… the absolute core of Chaos, is freedom.
