Beaver Dam Encounter Map

“The wilderness ist full of dangers, yes, but there’s also beauty. We came by a small lake today, that was not born out of accident, but hard labour. And it was not of any god’s or kin’s making, but by beavers. They had build a dam beneath a hill with an ancient tree, made that lake and put their castle of branches within.”

I couldn’t get the idea out of my head, to build another nature-environment encounter map with a beaver dam in it, after I saw a documentary on these fascinating creatures.

The map could be site to a battle with all sorts of monsters and dangerous beasts, but also just a nice place to put up camp.
