A Starry Breach

This is a Talespire adaptation of the map for the adventure “A Starry Breach”, featured in Prepared 2 written by Jon Sawtasky and published by Kobold Press.

Players come across a magical breach in the ice where a Void Dragon Wyrmling has been digging to expose a path to the void. The young dragon is empowered by 4 ice spires carved with otherworldly runes. This map is faithfully recreated to scale from the 2D map in the book, and of course can be repurposed for all kinds of snowy adventures. The main difference is that here the small hole leading to the void is represented by fire since I used crystals to illuminate the breach and didn’t have a great way to indicate a dark hole.

The adventure also calls for an abandoned fort where you meet the obsessed scholar who takes you to the breach. There’s no map specified in the book, so I’ve included a modified, snowy version of the castle from the Château isolé – isolated castle board by Estarila. Players can use this as a reclaimed base at the end of the adventure if you want!
