The Witchfire Trilogy is a series of adventures originally published for 3rd edition D&D, then updated for 3.5. The trilogy is set in the Iron Kingdoms, by Privateer Press, a somewhat steampunk setting that has had its 5th edition rules set for 5th edition D&D published.

The published a new Witchfire adventure set something like 14 years after the original, without updating the original in the process. So, I decided to run the modules in 5th edition, creating the maps as I updated the adventure.

Some of the maps are populated, some not. In several cases it wasnt possible to make an exact duplicate; as such, when I ran into these issues, I strived to capture the spirit of the map when I couldn’t capture it’s exact shape. Additionally, since there are no steampunk elements in Talespire yet, I made do as best I could.

Some of these maps are originals, and others are piecemealed from the works of other people; I will try and give credit where I can, and ask forgiveness if I miss anyone.

Finally, I will be adding the maps as I run these adventures for my group. As of the writing of this text, we had finished the first module, called The Longest Night, and are close to finishing the first bridging adventure called Fool’s Errand, and are getting close to starting the second module, Shadow of the Exile.

If you are curious, check out Iron Kingdoms: Requiem, for the rules to this wonderful world.
