Level 1 Winter Castle Ruins

Deep in a snowy forest lies an ancient castle, lost to time. Though the outer walls still stand strong, the inner structure lies in ruin, bodies of the dead hinting at a violent past. Though the building has been destroyed, its inhabitants slain, and treasures looted, a single vault door remains intact. The vault has somehow survived whatever attack brought down the castle and has remained undisturbed.

This castle serves as the entrance of a multi-level dungeon. My players have spent much time collecting 5 elemental stones prior to this. The stones will serve as the keys to the door which leads to stairs going to the dungeon’s first level. You could put a simple lock on the door, a puzzle or whatever you like and have the stairs link to whatever dungeon you want. I’ll be uploading the map to my dungeon and will add a link here once I’ve built it.
