Backstory summary: The Vanes are a family of sorcerers (and members of a sinister secret society) who also indulge an appetite for blood magic and cannibalism.

Read the story to yield an excellent idea how to run the map; or make up your own story and let us know how it transpires!
A Suggested numbered order of events is visible on the map. (Most below ground) The red “+” indicates water level.
