At the behest of his undead masters and to soothe some increasingly discontent creditors, lumber baron Mago Kai is organizing an expedition into the heart of the monster-infested Specterwood in search of a grove of ancient Sugi trees. It won’t be long before he and his men stumble upon the haunted ruins of Willowshore and a stone guardian who yet stands vigil for souls stranded somewhere between life and death.
