chan·dler ˈchan(d)-lər. 1. : a maker or seller of tallow or wax candles and usually soap.
The Chandler (Candle Maker) used in a fantasy setting is quite powerful. The Chandler uses specialty grown plants and distillation of wax and fats to make candles and soap with a little pinch of magic.
I will leave it up to you what magic hijinks ensue when your party picks up a random bar of soap or candle in a dungeon and then light it or clean with it 20 sessions later.
