The Argentum, Mountainside Fortress
Board

Full build of the Argentum, the mountainside Bastion our party are building as part of GM-Matt’s long running Planescape campaign.
This fortress, located in the Outlands around mid-way between Tir Na Nog and Excelsior on a mountain aside a ravine, was built using the Bastion Rules outlined in D&D 2024/D&D 5.5’s Dungeon Master’s Guide, combining the Bastion facilities of the current four members of our party, as well as some currently unused and unlisted extras should our fifth player player return. These facilities, and the entire board, are fully decorated using only native Talespire assets and keeping with their purpose in mind. They are, fully listed with their locations;

The Bastion is, additionally, surrounded by walls on three sides, with the remaining fourth being on the edge of a large cliff-face in the mountainside, not included in this board.
Technically the third iteration of the Argentum inside this campaign, the other two were built (and subsequently destroyed) in Sigil’s Lower Ward following first a ~10 years stint in the feywild, in the realm of Tir Na Nog, which to our party appeared like a few weeks of traveling only, during which the structure fell into disuse and was taken over via the basement by creatures of Undersigil. The second, and more recent iteration, was torched following a conflict with one of the party’s antagonists, Ramander the Wise, a Golden Lord of Sigil. This current (and perhaps last?) incarnation was built on the Outlands both to accomodate for space, but also to avoid the ire of the Lady of Pain by building a military/religious compound meant to serve principally a would-be-Goddess in Her city.
Our party is extremely strange and consists of a chaotic Gnome Battlesmith Artificer part of the Fraternity of Order, a Wood Elf Fey Wanderer Ranger/Battlemaster Fighter part of [REDACTED], an Eladrin (formely Dragonborn) Divine Soul Sorcerer/Oath of Ambition Paladin formerly of the Believers of the Source, and a Tiefling Undead Patron Warlock of the Dustmen. As such, our Bastion is very ecclectic in style and function, at least internally. But it makes for a fun map!
Enjoy!
