This is a temple dedicated to the supernatural patron Serbok. In this long forgotten temple a great treasure awaits. However this temple is on a time limit. When the players enter the supports of some rooms will collapse, leading to the temple to slowly sink down into the murky swamps and flood. Worst of all the players will be hunted by a Basilisk which uses old tube systems built into the temple to chase and pop out at the worst possible times. Turning any intruders to stone with its glare. I have some basic ideas for rooms here to use as inspiration, feel free to change whatever you’d like.

S1: There are the remains of a campfire here, likely over a decade old at this point. There are four pedestals that are empty. Inscribed into the fountain is a script written in Serpent-Man. “Return to the start of the cycle to unseal the future.” If the players decide to drop some gold into the fountain it will open a secret passage with some treasure and a lever that deactivates all the traps leading up to S5. The stone eggs must be placed on the pedestals to open the doors to S10

S2: This room is filled with the petrified remains of a previous adventuring party, the thief has one of the stone eggs tucked under their arm.

S3: This room is filled with three serpent-man spirits that attempt to attack the party. Through either the attacks of the spirits, or the spirits possessing some of the torture equipment in the room.

S4: The bunks of the temple, there are racks of weapons but they are all rusted away.

S5: This was clearly the war room for the head of the Serpent-Men who used to populate this temple. The throne allows one to view various points outside of the dungeon and every room inside of it. One of the stone eggs is here. Pulling the lever in this room opens a secret passage into S10

S6: Oozes that corrode and rust away metal can be found holed up in the remains of what seems to be a kitchen.

S7: This room is trapped. The chest opens if the door is closed behind the party however nothing is inside, if the door closes behind the party the room will begin to close in on them crushing them to death.

S8: What appears to be a forge can be found in this large room. The last stone egg is hidden among the crates and there’s the chance a +1 Weapon of a random type can be found here.

S9: Den of the Basilisk, this is where it rests when it is not hunting for intruders. One of the stone eggs can be found here along with many of the treasures of this temple.

S10: This is where the skeletons of various Serpent-Men are resurrected to flesh once the players enter this room. The head shaman is at the lectern and will attempt to kill the party. Whatever treasure is in here must’ve been worth keeping up the defenses.
