Update 2: Reworked roads to better paste with other slabs.

UPDATE: Removed the terracotta tiles to make the fort pieces more compatible and easier to paste. Slight road adjustments to line up with Horrea and Praetorium.

The Principia (Principle) was the headquarters of the Roman Castra (fort). Here, the commanding officer would have meetings with his top officers, pay would be distributed to soldiers, magistrate/court hearings would occur, speeches would be given, and even some political and religious ceremonies would be held there. The Principia is the central hub in which all commands are filtered down all the way to the average citizen or soldier. People would report to the Principia for orders, requisition materials they might need there, and then take those orders out for low-ranking soldiers, citizens, and slaves to carry out. It was quite literally the centrally located building for the Castra, and was usually right next to the commander’s personal house: the Praetorium.

Credit to Gengus for their bookshelves.

Credit to Blackwolf Majik for their angel statue.
