Mere’s Edge Rest – The last fresh Well for Water Deep bound traffic. But there are no safe havens this close to the Mere of Dead Men. And a misty dawn is an ideal time for Treachery!
Designed as a One-shot encounter for 4-6 2nd-3rd level players in D&D 5E.
Areas of interest –
- Swamp area has 2 Giant Toads and 2 Giant Frogs hidden in the reeds
- There is an old cellar under the stable ruins that contains a swarm of centipedes and a corpse with some loot
- The well provide an alternate way to the entrance of the Goblin cave, bypassing traps
- Both tunnel entrances trapped with crude spike traps
- Left side entrance has a couple of goblin archers with high ground and good cover
