Ages of being enslaved taught the duergar only to be cruel slave masters. They will capture just about anyone they can and force them into lives of permanent servitude. This underground stronghold features one of the largest sources of slaves for sale in the entire Underdark. While they mostly sell to other duergar, these duergar will also deal with other races who have enough gold and strength to make their capture not worth the effort.
