Many are the children of Graz’zt, the Dark Prince of the Abyss. But of all those children one is trusted above all others. She is known as Zaerithra, the Shadowflame Sentinel and it is from Abyssal Keep that she serves her wicked father. Abyssal keep is a small fortress nestled in the mountains, protected by a moat of spikes and undead. The keep features a garrison of demons who are completely loyal to Zaerithra as well as a portal directly to the Abyss. From here, Graz’zt can easily send servants to the material plane and so it is of great strategic importance to him. His daughter guards this portal with her life, though few would dare trespass upon her keep. When she is not protecting the keep or on a mission for her father, she likes to capture mortals and torture them until they agree to offer their souls to her father to escape the pain. She then fulfills her side of the deal by releasing them from their pain with death and damning their souls to eternal servitude.
