Built within an active volcano known as Mount Thraxis, the city straddles the tumultuous border between the elemental planes of fire and earth. Its architecture features glowing lava flows used in homes for heat, light and cooking. The air is thick with heat and the rhythmic clang of hammers, as the azers trade their masterwork creations with visitors from across the planes, including elemental beings, planar merchants, and daring adventurers.
The volcanic mine, Thraxis Vein, is a busy labyrinth of molten rock and crystalline deposits. Azer miners and smiths work tirelessly, extracting precious gems and rare metals while forging weapons and artifacts in the city’s legendary forges, fueled by the volcano’s heart.
