The Mayfair farm, a humble yet thriving plot of land known for its abundant crops and hearty livestock. Situated on fertile soil near the edge of a forest, the farm is run by the Mayfair family, who have lived there for generations. A sturdy wooden farmhouse and barn stand as testaments to their hard work, surrounded by fields of wheat and rows of vegetable patches.

Recently, a large sinkhole appeared near the livestock pen, exposing a network of tunnels beneath the farm. These tunnels are now home to a colony of ankhegs, whose presence has caused crops to wither and livestock to go missing. The Mayfairs are desperate for help, fearing the creatures will soon destroy their livelihood—or worse, their home.
