Labyrinthian Library
Board
Your party’s ally has been abducted and captured!
Navigate the winding pathways of the coven’s library in search of the items you will require for their rescue and face the foes whom have all caused you so much trouble.
A labyrinthian library with four, incrementally overlapping, floors.
The labyrinth itself is composed of the ground, first and second floors.
The fourth floor serves as an unobstructed observation area looking downwards into the heart of the library.
A central spire, along with several separate stairways, relay the various floors together.
The individual floor’s labyrinths can be solved by following the stone knight statues.
The ground floor in particular has a path that can be seen via the second to last layer underneath the nominal flooring
Composed of various winding pathways, player characters and NPCs may peek past iron grates and over walls via the many available bookshelf ladders without being, via mundane physical means, able to jump over.
Dead ends result in, by default, locked study areas, with available potions, scrolls and story artifacts awaiting discovery so to both encourage and reward exploration.
A rogue’s dream, perfect for any combination of infiltration, stealth, theft and combat.
Map may be used as is or modified further via the removal of walls to create an arena.
Ready to play.
Balanced for 3 to 4 Level 11 Player Characters
Enemies are spread out in varying groupings, combinations and areas.
Designed to enable players to elect to bypass or stealth takedown certain enemies and funnel the party into combat in others, typically via the labyrinth’s natural chokepoints.
