Japanese Pagoda
Slab

Made this for the homie Unknownsmile. It’s based on the famous Yakushiji Pagoda.
Pagoda’s were mostly symbolic and used for holding sacred relics so there’s not much going on inside. This build took a lot of experimenting and rebuilds. Enjoy!
Credit to Blackwolf Majik for the scrolls and plants I stole from their Ronin desk.

Yah I could give it a shot! I won’t be able to do a perfect color match though because the Morgoth roof tiles are about the only ones I can make look Japanese. That and some pieces from the ship set. I might have to search up a cherry blossom tree as well but I might be able to make one out of a butt ton of the pink flowers. I’ll just need to put them together in a way that hides the green. I’ll post it up once I’m done and if there’s any edits you’d like let me know and I’ll just reupload the slab.
Alright, sounds awesome. Can’t wait to see it. (: (forgot to remove *can* in the previous msg I sent.)
Here’s the other reference image of the same place. (: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/737957088964903927/
Thanks! I found a video where the guy builds it as well as another pic so I’m good. I’ll post it up as soon as I can ^_^
I’m like 80-90% done btw. I just have a lot of the detail work to do. I hope you don’t mind but I altered the build here and there to make it more playable. I tried to keep it compact but no matter how much sculpting and cutting I did I was still like 3-4x the max slab size. I’m hoping to have it up tomorrow.
awesome, after it is done could you make a winter/snowy version. (:
Um, we’ll see lol. I may be fast but that’s only bc I make my own hours and business is slow right now. It took a lot of time and effort (at least 16 hours) to put it together and making a snow version might prove difficult. I’ll see how I’m feeling and what the community response is!
It’s taking a little longer than expected. I decided to weave the build into my campaign setting. So I have a little adventure I’m setting up within the build itself. It shouldn’t take away from the picturesque scene though.
alrighty (:
