Greybeard's Mansion (The Dark Eye)

Game: The Dark Eye

Story synopsis: The dread pirate Greybeard has retired, and to the dismay of his crew, took his treasure with him. They are not amused. However, they know where his mansion is. Greaybeard had it built, together with a pirate and smuggler hide-out beneath it. When they go looking for him there, they only find his mother and daughter Silvana at home. They break in at night and try to force them to tell them where Greybeard hid his treasure.

Enter the heroes. They witnessed the break-in and save the old woman and the pretty Silvana. Greybeard's mom asks them to please go find the treasure map and just take it away. Greybeard has hid it on the top floor of the house, but they don't dare to go there, because of all the traps and black magic the pirate collected during his travels.

Of course, the heroes oblige. But when they get back after their investigation of the top floor (assuming they all survive), they find Silvana has been kidnapped and the treasure map is demanded as ransom. Greybeard's mom asks the heroes to please save her granddaughter. She also tells them that she thinks that the pirates have a hide-out and that maybe there is an entrance in the cellar.

The slab:

Greybeard's two-story mansion.
The pirate hide-out dungeon beneath it.

You can build the rest of the city around it to your own taste.

This is the first map I ever made in TaleSpire.
