What you see before you is my best recreation of an Acehnese type Ghali was originally developed by the Ottoman’s I believe but would come to be used by many in Europe. It was also one of the first naval ships to be outfitted with cannon in history, typically 2 to 3 forward facing cannons. They would last be used somewhere in the 18th century during the Crimean War. The last being constructed by Russia in 1796.
