When a creature starts its turn on a gear, it is immediately moved in the indicated direction. Move 5ft if near the middle of a gear, or 10ft if near the edge.ย If a creature finds itself where two gears would pull it in, it must make an Acrobatics or Athletics save to avoid being Restrained.ย

A creature that is Restrained by the gears takes severe Bludgeoning Damage at the start of its next turn, but can then use an action to make a STR, DEX, or CON save to pull itself free.ย If they are still restrained by the start of their next turn, they take even more Bludgeoning Damage, but successfully freeing themselves with a STR, DEX, or CON save will cost them a limb.ย Damage and escape DC’s are at GM discretion.
