Desert Magic Shop

The Arcane Oasis was built with two ideas in mind. The first was to bring magical education to the people. The second was to provide a place of sanctuary amid the desert sands. The owner, a half-orc conjurer named Zayd ibn Riham. The name Zayd means abundance while ibn Riham means son of Riham. His father’s name represented gentle rain. While Zayd could not bring an abundance of rain to the desert, he would learn to bring water, which was the next best thing. Atop his magic shop are a pair of crystals that serve as a direct connection to the elemental plane of water, and together they feed the fountain that pours forth, attracting people in search of cool refreshment. This source of infinite water has allowed a small town to flourish around the magic shop, a fact for which Zayd is quite proud.
