Descent Into Avernus | Avernus Hex Map | G2 – Dretch Cavern / Worm Den

A yawning sinkhole leads into a cavern of shifting earth, where unstable ground hides a festering portal to the Abyss. Dretchs spill endlessly into the dark, only to be hunted and devoured by a colossal purple worm that tunnels new mazes with each thrash. The stench of bile and broken stone hangs thick in the air, as the earth itself seems hungry, waiting to swallow the careless whole.

This collection wouldn’t exist without the Talespire community. Many of the fortresses, houses, hills, and assets you’ll see here come from amazing builders who share their work on TalesTavern. I’ve combined and reimagined them into a huge interconnected project, creating something bigger and unique for the Nine Hells.
