Cr 4 fallen traveller

I like this encounter as it doesn't have to be a bad one, the adventurers are traveling on the road when they come a cross a skeleton partially berried by mud. If the bones are disturbed by the party then a non-hostile ghost appears and looks at them forlornly, this ghost is unable to speak due to it having its neck slit, so the party will need to find a different way to communicate (text or gestures/sign.). If the party simply loots the body and leaves the ghost attacks, however if the party agree to take the bones to a grave yard or if they have a cleric/paladin then they could make a grave and sanctify it, then the ghost can give them a reward. (items location or some sought of magical gift.).

I have used this as a side quest that requires that the dead person be avenged, and if needed you can scale down the encounter and use the stats of a spectre. (Id say 4 players at lv 3 is good if they have magical attacks/weapons of some kind.)
