Having tread through the dreaded fen in the shadow of the mountains and forest, you happen across a ruined town of considerable size, or at least it used to be. At it's relative center the only structure left standing appears. A castle topped with thorny spires pierces the wall of fog into the night sky that exudes a chill that seeps into your very bones.
