Apartment Block
Slab

A small apartment building in a less developed part of the city.
NARRATIVE SUPPLEMENTARY
EXTERIOR
A short red brick building which is devoid of much technological glamour. The front door is illuminated by bright neon tubes.
Old vending machines sit in the parking lot next to a creaky yet solid back door.
LOUNGE
A musty smell accompanies the small, lightly decorated room. It seems to be a small commons room but has been repurposed for auxiliary storage and littered with mostly unmarked boxes and containers. A hydraulic door atop a set of stairs grants entry into the main hall.
HALLWAY 1A
A musty smell accompanies the hallway. Three apartments of which are reputably decently sized rooms are behind reinforced doors with narrow peepholes to each. There is old and somewhat tacky carpet flooring on each level accompanied with a set of matching ornamental rugs. Few decorations exist in the hall and the space is lit dimly with grimy wall mounted light fixtures. There are two hydraulic doors present, one of which leads into what seems to be a common area and the other into a stairwell.
PUBLIC BATHROOM
The single bathroom smells of use but is otherwise not exceptional in any way.
HALLWAY 1B
The smell is noticeably much less pungent. Three additional apartments are up here. The hall is furnished with another set of vending machines, a sitting area with lamp and table, and a drawer stand halfway down the hall against the wall.
STAIRWELL
The stairwell boasts no natural lighting and is only illuminated by dim neon fixtures. The stairwell alternates between the worn red brick and a gray dilapidated concrete. The smell of the hallway somewhat lingers but is mostly alleviated by the pile of garbage beneath the stairs.
