The Beckoning Shadows

Dark forces are plotting in the corners of the world.  Men and women of power, scheming in secret to bring about something monstrous.  The shadows beckon, and its disciples are anxious for its arrival.  Their loyalty shall usher them into godhood, at whatever the cost may be.

An event of happenstance brings a group of adventurers together in the midst of this dark work.  Will they be able to unlock the mysteries and deception at play?  Will they be able to stop the dread looming on the horizon?
