A skald was a Norse poet or musician. They were the bards of the Viking age. It’s fitting, because this story is about a Norse culture on a strange, original world, called Thoren. The planet is littered with ancient, technological artifacts left behind by a long-gone culture. It’s a bit of fantasy and a bit of sci-fi, wrapped together in an intriguing mystery!
