A City of Districts
Collection
A collection of the maps im making for my City of Districts project.
Ive always many found cities dont represent the larger 100000 person dense population cities akin to Paris or London. Its both too demanding to build and overwhelming to play in. Thus the idea to string a series of hub worlds together like points on a map that can be traveled and explored. This allows for a detailed table top experiece whick allows space to use theatre of the mind to bring the whole city together through travel encounters and checks between zones.
Eventually there should be a board to represent most parts of a large fantasy city that can be used as hub maps and reusable random encounter maps for urban campaigns or settings.
Future planned maps (if i do indeed get around to them)
- Castle District
- Gatehouse and City walls
- Crafting District
- Warhouse District (for now see Warehouse District – Tales Tavern by StrongJonSilver as its close to my vision and doesnt really need changing)
- Aristocratic Random Streets
- Arts/University District (Think theatres, nice landscaping and fancy houses)
