This village lies in a shallow valley of hills, surrounded by farmland & apple orchards. Its almost a century old, most of its inhabitants being original settlers, or their kin. Its proximity to the misty mountains, and the dangerous mists that emanate from its peaks, ends up attracting all sorts of beasts of the night. The Huntsmans Lodge was founded by Kane Thorncrown , in an effort to combat these monsters & beasts. This came at an especially imperative time when the greedy Lord Jestran Ulfrin and his hellhound of a Marhal & Executioner, Volkmar Smythe , bled the citizens through taxes, yet never coming to their defense. This caused a great rift in the community, which led Kane Thorncrown to openly speaking of defiance. In a reactionary show of power, Lord Jestran Ulfrin ordered Kane’s arrest, & the ransacking of The Huntsmans Lodge .
