Before i come to the story and imaginary part, id like to say, this board was somewhat made in a rush as i only had limited time to prepare it. Therefore if things look ugly or dont fit your encounter, be sure to also change around stuff you dont like, the hidden cave with the dead explorers is found on the left winged side looking from the entrance point towards the massive tunnel dug from the Worm, wich is also another possible indicator for your players that something big and most likely extremely dangerous dug through the ice and rock a long time ago. Aka this is were an Ice Worm (Huge-Gargantuan) could appear, your choice. On a last note, this can be expanded beyond the tunnel and was thinking about doing so, but it would have been too laggy or big so i left it be, use another board  or maybe slab as an add up to this if that helps and you dont wanna expand it yourself.

Introduction: Through the cold cave, a small entrance can be found one that looks like it would lead into a bigger area. When passing through this is a massive ice cave probably more than 1000 Years old and must have been dug out or once been a lush, filled with life small Paradise, before it was frozen. One thing that disturbs you however, is a shaking of the ground as if underneath possibly miles away something very large moves. The snow is thick and you sink in deep with your feet and it is indeed difficult to move onwards, once you reach the stone passage wich must have been formed naturally, its getting easier and you inspect the great tunnel dug through a glacier with some leftover stones, comepletly restrained there, boulders the size of a troll or ogre… Impressive. The shaking didnt stop, now you recognize it, a huge.. maybe even gargantuan being moves through the glaciers crust beneath you. Trying to take it slowly and reaching almost the start of the tunnel, a small breeze is followed by a paranoid silence, nothing is heard.. it should be safe now. In that moment as you make the first step onto it, bursts open a cataylsmic Ice Worm! it looks around and at first it didnt see you, then! it slowly turns and lets out a mighty roar, making the journey now a deadly fight to the bone.

hope you still enjoy it, despite being …not quite so beautiful as i hoped it to be.
